Lauren Cooper

Are you looking for a destination to pop the big question? They are not lying when they say that Christmas is in fact the most wonderful time of the year, so why not make it extra special by creating a new memory with the love of your life. Don’t stress yourself out trying to find the perfect location when I already have the top holiday engagement destinations right here.

MY TOP 5 UK DESTINATIONS

LONDON

Why not propose in the capital city, London offers a multitude of amazing spaces to declare your love. The London Eye, The Shard and Winter Wonderland are some of the festive favorites when it comes to proposing in the big city. Both the London Eye and The Shard offer views to die for and the perfect backdrop for your perfect night. Winter Wonderland however shows a festive alternative, surrounding you and your partner with Christmas scenes as well as fun rides and games to play together.

YORK

If you have never visited this northern city around the Christmas period, you have not

lived. York itself boasts hundreds of festive retailers and market stalls, whereas the moors are a picturesque snowy wonderland, painting the most glorious picture with your and your future spouse as the main characters. If there is somewhere guaranteed to hold the snow, it is Yorkshire, but don’t let the bitter weather put you off. Take the opportunity to bask in the warmth of some of their gorgeous village pubs and propose in an intimate oasis, with the frosty hillside as your whimsical greenscreen. This stunning destination is the ideal proposal spot for any outdoorsy couple. Rain or shine, take your sweetheart on a hike and pop the question in secluded winter woodland.

BERKSHIRE

Berkshire is the home to the fountain of love...I will say no more.

HOME

You don’t always have to venture outside of your home to make the evening special, you are asking your love to marry you, it is already magical within itself. Many couples opt to propose at home to create a more intimate and personal setting. You are able to control all of the variables at home and create something that is truly tailored to you and your partner.

MY 3 DREAMY DESTINATIONS ABROAD

LAPLAND

If you really want to make the most of the Christmas season, why not fly you and your potential fiancé to Sweden and bask in the glory that is Lapland. The popular holiday destination has villages of log cabins and chalets to create the Christmas you’ve always dreamed of. It also offers starry nights, frosty mornings and if you are lucky, you may even be able to get down on that knee with the northern lights painting the sky.

SANTORINI

Why not whisk your love away from the chilling British weather and bask in the sunshine

for a little while. Book yourself a trip away to one of the most romantic hot spots in the world. Santorini offers warm weather, stunning scenery and the most wonderful location to propose. Live out your favourite Mamma Mia fairytale on this Greek island.

PARIS

The city of love. If you and your partner are hopeless romantics then Paris may be just the place for you. Although it may seem cliche, they are cliches for a reason. Watch the bustling city from the tip of the Eiffel tower or make your way through the old streets, visiting traditional vendors and local wineries. Make the most of the romantic atmosphere that Paris has to offer and pop the question here.

Whether you propose halfway across the world or down your local common, the sentiment is what is important. A proposal is something that both you and your partner are going to remember forever, so make it count. If you need any help with planning your spectacular moment, get in touch today.

DO NOT MAKE YOUR ENGAGEMENT AN AFTERTHOUGHT.

It is a huge task getting married, the engagement, the honeymoon.

DELEGATE. No shame in reaching out for help.
